Common questions
Both. A2Z Pumps handles agricultural and domestic wells — homes, ranches, livestock water and farm systems.
Check that the breaker for the well pump hasn't tripped and that power is on elsewhere in the house. If the breaker trips again right away, leave it off and call us. Don't open the pressure switch or control box — they carry high voltage.
Many health agencies recommend testing private well water at least once a year for bacteria, and any time the taste, smell or look of the water changes, or after flooding or well work.
It varies with water quality, how hard the pump works and whether the pressure tank is healthy. A failing pressure tank that makes the pump short-cycle is one of the most common reasons pumps wear out early.
If your well can't keep up with peak demand — irrigation, livestock or a busy household — a storage tank lets the well refill it slowly and gives you a reserve to draw from.
